As the final days of autumn come to a close, the nights grow colder and the weather becomes less tolerant. The winter months will soon arrive and submerge the valley in a white blanket of frost. The nights are already too cold to survive, and in seven days, even the warmth of the sun’s light will not save you from a frozen end. Lost in the wild, you must work together. Winter’s fatal chill will surely be your end unless you can build a cabin to keep you warm.
Warmth is a survival board game in which players try to construct a cabin while keeping the “fire” in the center of the board ablaze. The players have a limited amount of time to finish building the cabin and are presented with several obstacles that are meant to slow the construction process and inhibit players from finishing the game. Restrictions on time and the anxiety induced by the possibility of the fire going out gives the players a sense of urgency that keeps them playing the game.
